DocGen is an AI-powered documentation generation tool that reads publicly accessible GitHub repositories and generates documentation using artificial intelligence. DocGen does not store, sell, or share your source code. We only process publicly available repository data that you explicitly submit.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Documentation generated by DocGen is produced by an AI model (Claude by Anthropic) and is provided for informational purposes only. DocGen does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any generated documentation.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating all AI-generated content before using it in any production environment, codebase, or official documentation. DocGen shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in generated content.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DocGen only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Submit repositories containing private, confidential, or proprietary code you do not have rights to share
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
  • Use the Service to generate documentation for malicious, illegal, or harmful software
  • Misrepresent AI-generated documentation as human-written without disclosure

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any repositories you submit. DocGen does not claim any ownership over your code or the generated documentation. The generated documentation is provided to you for your own use.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocGen and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated documentation, loss of data, or business interruption.

7. Service Availability

DocGen is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
